Dear Julie, Sharon and Mandy,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support and encouragement you gave to not only me, but my husband Alex.
It’s not every day (or ever I believe) you have a groom enter your shop and inform you that he’s picking the dress! Thank you for not turning him down, you helped him pick the perfect dress which just so happened to be the one I secretly set my heart on in the shop!
Thank you for adapting your usual practice to guide me up and down and get me in and out of the dress all with a blindfold on, it was a first for us all! And apologies if I confused any of your customers, there were a few you had to reassure that “we don’t blindfold all of our brides”!
I have attached a few pictures which contain the ‘big reveal’ moment, the tears are happy ones I promise. Asking Alex to pick my dress was the best decision I could have made and it was down to you lovely ladies that he actually went through with it; especially having been in other dress shops and being made to feel silly!
Unfortunately in most of the pictures from the church I am clutching my bouquet in front of the gorgeous detail of the bodice, I think it was a nervous thing! I have included pictures from later on in the day when I put the bouquet down. Also, don’t spit out your tea, but our gorgeous dog Reggie came to join in with the first dance as you’ll see in the pictures… yes, those are his paws on the beautiful white gown!
Again, thank you so so so much, it was the perfect dress picked by the perfect man for the perfect day.
